Vacation School Program, Quininí  (2-4 weeks)

Looking for something meaningful to do on your next vacation? Help lead a vacation school program for youth of varying ages. We are looking for volunteers with skills relating to sports, art, agriculture and more!  Vacation programs are held during the months of December, January, June & July.

English & Tutoring Program, Quininí â€‹ (3 months)

After living and working in the coffee lands for a few months, you won't ever want to leave. We are looking for volunteers to teach English and tutor local students after school during the Spring and Fall semesters. This is a great opportunity for students who have just finished school or are looking to take a semester off.

English Classes, Aguadulce (3-5 month committment)

If you are living in Bogotá, or  will be staying in the city for an extended period of time, we could use your help teaching English one day per week (Mon-Fri) in the community of Aguadulce (35 minutes by bus from the center).

Workshops, all locations (1-2 days)

We are looking for volunteers to help lead workshops in the communities we work with. Workshops usually last from 3-8 hours, depending on the topic, and can be spread out over 2 days. Past workshops have covered topics such as classical music, environmental art, photography and serigraphy. We are always looking for new and interesting themes. Talk to us if you have an idea!

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities year-round. Please click on each of the program titles for more details. Volunteers who are willing to commit to 3 months can inquire about the possibility of converting a volunteer opportunity into an internship for credit.

Community Art Murals, all locations (1-7 days)

Are you an artist interested in showcasing your talents and/or gaining experience in community art? We'll find the wall if you'll supply your talent. Artists must be willing to involve the neighboring community in the creative process.

Coffee Harvest, Quininí (1-4 weeks during the month of May)

Learn about the coffee production process while living and working with the farmers. Harvest season is a busy time in Quininí and the community could definitely use your help! This opportunity is for those who are happy and willing to get their hands dirty. Farm work is hard work!

Design and/or Video Production, varied locations (1-7 days)

Both Interchange Colombia and Andes EcoTours are looking for creative individuals that are willing to dedicate some time to helping design flyers, videos and other types of marketing materials to promote NGO work and sustainable tourism projects.

Volunteers on-call, Bogotá (varies)

If you live in and around Bogotá and are interested in volunteering from time to time, send us your email and we'll add you to our volunteers on-call mailing list. If we are looking for volunteers for a specific event/activity we will send out an email and you will have the opportunity to join us. We can always use an extra hand!

Houston Fundraising Team (1-5 month committment)

If you live in Texas and would like to join our fundraising team, we would love to have you! Each year we host an annual fundraiser in the city and rely on volunteers to help coordinate events and activities.

Volunteers on-call, worldwide (varies)

Rural communities, NGO's and small businesses aren't always able to afford the kinds of services that are needed to give them a competitive edge. For that reason, we are looking for volunteers on-call that would be willing to help out with services such as videography, web and/or graphics design, marketing materials & translating, amongst other things. It doesn't matter whether you live in Colombia or abroad, if you are willing to share your talents to help out a local community, NGO or small business please contact us to inquire about becoming an Interchange volunteer on-call.
